A seamless mobile app and web check-in for Tigerair Australia

Tigerair Australia, a major aviation player that once connected people across Asia-Pacific, had the vision that travel is about enabling great experiences. Being of the same mind, we got on board in 2015 to make the digital journey a great experience for passengers.

Mobile App

The goal was to restructure functions into a friendly and easy-to-use digital interface that matched the Tigerair brand’s fresh look and warm, genuine personality. To take the app to great heights, we delivered a high-level concept and a complete UX and UI design facelift on both iOS and Android.

This included the entire booking flow and post-booking, as well as the home, deals, and content pages. We even created custom map illustrations showcasing all the origin-destination flight routes (yes, that is a lot of possible variations).

Web check-in

To deliver a first-class customer experience, a smooth online flight check-in is essential. Our task was to implement the process by designing and developing responsive desktop and mobile screens that covered everything from booking retrieval through inflight ancillary services to payment.

And let’s not forget the boarding card, because, well, that is something one should never forget to bring on board – be it printed or mobile.
